More than just skiing. Family fun is right at home on the Alpe Cimbra

Snow, the mountain, a family holiday: three ingredients for a winter holiday where you can enjoy many activities with your children, not just skiing!

• Toboggans and tubing: right outside the Hotel La Baita is the Fondo Piccolo toboggan run. Go up the escalator and then get ready for the descent! A bit of adrenaline and a world of fun for children and adults.
• Longanorbait horseback riding centre: a horseback ride, petting the donkeys, a longer walk... all in the snow!
  The Longanorbait horseback riding centre organizes individual or collective English and Western riding lessons and day-long courses for adults and children.
  You can also take organized excursions, upon request, in the more suggestive areas of Alpe Cimbra.
• Snow Fat Bike: neither skis nor snowshoes to discover the Fondo Piccolo area. Rent a fat bike near our hotel and discover Folgaria in a unique and fun way. There are paths created just for this type of bicycle and, when you leave at sunset you can enjoy a night-time experience.
  Put on your facemask and take along your spirit of adventure. The snowy paths of Alpe Cimbra await! You don’t need any special equipment, just warm clothing, comfortable shoes, and the desire to have fun.
• Skating: fun for the whole family at the Folgaria skating rink. Rent skates and glide over the 1,800 m2 of ice. The rink is indoors, surrounded by grandstands, and open all year. Keep an eye on the calendar. There are also exciting shows and artistic exhibitions at the rink. 
  If you want to try but don’t know where to begin, the Ice School offers courses for all ages and skill levels.
• Sleddog: on the Millegrobbe circuit sled dogging is also practiced. Here 60 sled dogs train for this sport but they can also pull the sleigh you are sitting on and will take you to discover unique panoramas, both day and night.
• Walks with stroller: a family location like Fondo PIccolo offers you the possibility to take peaceful walks with a stroller, even in the snow. You can put a small ski on the front while of the stroller or rent ski strollers and take the compact and well-marked baby trekking trails.
